How it works
The calculator first estimates the planned duration by dividing the project workload by the team size. It then reduces the team's average capacity by the expected absence percentage. Dividing the same workload by this reduced capacity gives an absence-adjusted duration. The difference between the adjusted and planned durations is the estimated time to add to the schedule.
