How to enter earnings, rates and working days.
What are pensionable daily earnings?
They are the part of one day's pay used by the arrangement to calculate pension contributions. They may be less than total pay.
Should I enter my rate as 8 or 0.08?
Enter 8 for an 8% rate. The calculator divides the entered percentage by 100.
What if there is no employer pension contribution?
Enter 0% for the employer rate. The combined total will then equal the employee contribution.
What does working days per year mean?
It is the number of days you expect to receive pensionable earnings during the year.

How is the total daily contribution calculated?
The calculator adds the employee daily contribution and employer daily contribution.

Does the annual total include both employee and employer money?
Yes. The total annual figure combines both estimated contribution amounts.
